Mama Jill's Pet Care, LLC was created from a lifelong love of animals and a dream of building something meaningful for our family and community.
Founded by Jillian "Mama Jill" Riegelsperger, our business was built with the goal of creating a family-owned company that could grow for years to come and one day be passed down to future generations. Mama Jill's is also a tribute to Jillian's late brother, whose love for animals continues to inspire the heart of our business.
Mama Jill isn't alone in this journey. Her husband, Bert ("Papa Bert"), is a retired Lieutenant from the Jacksonville Fire Department in North Carolina who was injured in the line of duty after years of serving his community. Today, he continues serving others alongside Mama Jill. With a lifetime of experience around dogs—including growing up with a K-9 officer father—Bert brings a calm, confident presence and a genuine love for animals to every visit.
Together, we provide trusted in-home pet care through dog walking and drop-in visits, treating every pet like family and every client like a neighbor.
We are proud to serve Clayton, Cleveland, Smithfield, and surrounding communities.
